Day 1
Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda
Welcome to Uganda and the beginning of your East African adventure.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, an Enkare Safaris representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to No.5 Boutique Hotel. Set within a peaceful residential area near the airport, the hotel provides a comfortable place to rest after your international journey.
After checking in, spend the remainder of the day relaxing in the gardens, enjoying the swimming pool or unwinding on the veranda. Depending on your arrival time, an optional visit around Entebbe or the shores of Lake Victoria can be arranged.

Day 2
Fly from Entebbe to Uganda’s Gorilla Highlands
After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled light-aircraft flight to Kisoro in southwestern Uganda.
The flight offers beautiful aerial views as the landscape changes from Lake Victoria’s lowlands to the hills, lakes and volcanic scenery of the country’s southwest. On arrival at Kisoro Airstrip, your lodge representative will welcome you and transfer you by road to Mount Gahinga Lodge.
Settle into your private banda and enjoy the lodge’s peaceful surroundings beneath the Virunga volcanoes. The afternoon is available for relaxation, a guided nature experience or a cultural activity, depending on your arrival time.

Days 3
Gorilla Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, transfer to the designated park headquarters for registration, a safety briefing and allocation to a trekking group. Accompanied by experienced trackers and park rangers, enter the forest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family.
The trek may involve steep trails, thick vegetation and changing weather conditions, but the reward is an extraordinary encounter with gorillas in their natural environment. Observe their behaviour, family interactions and remarkably human-like expressions while following the instructions of your ranger.
After the trek, return to Mount Gahinga Lodge for lunch and a restful afternoon. The exact trekking sector will be confirmed according to permit availability and final safari arrangements.

Day 4
Fly from Uganda to Nairobi, Kenya
At Entebbe International Airport, connect with your regional flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport.
The remainder of the evening is available for rest and relaxation. The hotel’s convenient airport location makes it an ideal stop before continuing to Kenya’s northern wilderness the following morning.

Day 5
Fly from Nairobi to Samburu
After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to northern Kenya.
As you fly away from Nairobi, watch the landscape change from fertile central highlands to the rugged, semi-arid wilderness of Samburu. On arrival at the airstrip, your safari guide will meet you and transfer you to SaSaab Camp, with wildlife viewing possible along the way.
Check in, enjoy lunch and take time to appreciate the camp’s beautiful setting overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River. Later in the afternoon, depart for your first game drive in the Samburu ecosystem.
Look out for elephants, lions, leopards and the region’s distinctive northern species before returning to camp for dinner.

Day 6
Full-Day Samburu Safari Experience
Spend the day exploring Samburu’s dramatic landscapes on morning and afternoon safari activities.
The region is known for species specially adapted to northern Kenya’s dry environment, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, gerenuk and Somali ostrich. Elephants are also frequently encountered along the river and surrounding woodland.
Depending on the lodge programme, your day may include game drives, a guided bush walk or a cultural visit to a nearby Samburu community. Return to camp during the warmer part of the day for lunch, relaxation and time at your private plunge pool.
An afternoon game drive concludes with sundowner drinks before returning to camp for dinner.

Day 7
Fly to Nairobi and Stay at Giraffe Manor
Following breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi.
On arrival, your Enkare Safaris representative will transfer you to Giraffe Manor. This distinctive heritage property is set within a private sanctuary inhabited by endangered Rothschild’s giraffes.
Spend the afternoon enjoying the manor’s gardens, elegant interiors and famous giraffe interactions. During afternoon tea or breakfast, the giraffes may approach the building and stretch their long necks through specially designed windows.
This intimate experience provides memorable photography opportunities while helping guests learn more about giraffe conservation.

Nairobi Culture and Conservation Experience

Fly from Nairobi to Arusha, Tanzania
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Complete the arrival formalities and meet your Tanzanian representative for the transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge. Located on a working coffee plantation, the lodge provides a peaceful transition between the city experiences of Nairobi and the wilderness of the Serengeti.
Spend the afternoon relaxing beside the pool, exploring the plantation grounds or joining an optional coffee tour to learn how beans are grown, harvested and prepared.
Enjoy dinner surrounded by tropical gardens and the calm atmosphere of the estate.

Day 10
Fly from Arusha to the Serengeti
Following breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight into Serengeti National Park.
Enjoy magnificent aerial views of Tanzania’s northern landscapes before landing at the airstrip serving Olakira Migration Camp. Because Olakira changes location seasonally, the final airstrip and flight schedule will be confirmed for your travel dates.
Your guide will meet you at the airstrip and introduce you to the Serengeti during a game drive en route to camp. Arrive for lunch, settle into your tent and enjoy views across the surrounding wilderness.
Later, depart on an afternoon game drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs and the Serengeti’s numerous grazing herds.

Day 11
Full-Day Serengeti Game Viewing
Wake to the sounds of the Serengeti and begin the day with an early morning game drive.
The cooler hours offer excellent opportunities to observe predators, large herbivore herds and animals gathering near rivers or seasonal water sources. Your guide will select the best wildlife-viewing areas according to recent animal movements and local conditions.
Return to camp for breakfast and relaxation, or continue with a longer safari accompanied by a packed lunch. During migration periods, the day may be spent following wildebeest and zebra herds as they move through the ecosystem.
Return to camp for sundowner drinks, dinner and an evening beneath the Serengeti sky.

Day 12
Explore the Serengeti
Enjoy another full day in Serengeti National Park, allowing time to explore a different section of this vast ecosystem.
Your guide may focus on kopjes, open grasslands, river systems or woodland habitats depending on seasonal wildlife activity. Look for big cats resting on rocky outcrops, elephant families crossing the plains and giraffes feeding among acacia trees.
A second full day also provides better opportunities for patient wildlife observation and photography. An optional sunrise hot-air balloon safari may be arranged at an additional cost, subject to location and availability.
Conclude your final safari day with a scenic evening drive before returning to Olakira Migration Camp for dinner.

Fly to Kilimanjaro and Depart
Enjoy your final breakfast in the Serengeti before checking out and transferring to the airstrip.
Board your scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will connect with your onward international flight. Depending on the departure schedule, additional accommodation or a day room can be arranged at an extra cost.
